- The project consists in consolidating and prolonging the container system of Piot Island
The projected works are made up of:
- existing works (vertical concrete walls) and which are to be enhanced on a linear of 643 m
- new works to be built:
- Concrete walls on a linear cumulated about approximately cumee560 m
- Merlon digue on a cumulative linear of approximately 130 m
- 3 removable protections 1.5 to 2.5 m wide
- Room enhancement on a cumulative linear of approximately 405 m
- of equipment to be supplied:
Removable protections over 10 m long- not included in the contiguration systemLandscapes
Le Grand Avignon takes advantage of the opportunity of the project to improve the level of protection to reclassify the 3 work sectors: the Bagatelle sector, the Chemin de l'ile Piot and the RD228 and the Chemin de la Barthelasse sector. Projected arrangements consist of requalificationUses, traffic and covering changes, land levels, designing and vegetation as well as the installation of rest and leisure equipment + public lighting.
