Rennes Metropole has reflected recent legislation (LTECV of 2015 and law AGEC of 2020) in the objectives of its 2030 waste strategic plan and its PLPDMA 2023-2028, which are available by: - Reduce waste production by 12 % between 2019 and 2030 at least, or reduced by 2030 by 57kg/hab for the quantity of waste produced, - Increase recycling in order to reach the objective of the Agec law in 2030, or 60 % of DMA recycled in 2030. These Ambitious objectives require the search for progression tracks and to better know its deposits, limit its quantity and extract the share of valuables which would still be there, Rennes Metropole launches 2 studies of characterizations in 2026-27: a study relating to a characterization residual household waste and a study on a characterization of bulky
