Digital Africa sets up for each startup of its portfolio, access to tools and a network of experts to promote their growth and impact. In this context, Digital Africa wishes to build a pool of experts at the service of portfolio startups. The latter includesMultisectoral African Tech Startups in Early Stage (Pre-SEED and SEED) from 18 priority countries for Digital Africa: Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Benin, Uganda, Zambia, Togo, Cameroon, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique DRC. So,The selected experts will be French-speaking, English-speaking and/or lusophone.
African startups in pre-seed and seed often reach a first level of local traction, but encounter significant brakes when it comes to scaling up. Several challenges slow down this growth: difficulties in industrializing the sales processes, structuring a high -performance sales team, adapting their offer to neighboring markets to different dynamics, or even identifying the right distribution relays in a fragmented context.
To this is added excessive dependenceWith non -dilutive funding or in support of international partners, without parallel construction of solid recurring income.
