Description:
The city of Moulins, as well as the neighboring municipalities of Neuvy and Yzeure, are supplied with drinking water by the Madeleine production plant, located on the left bank of the Allier, near the RD 2009. Gross water comes from a field of field capturing in the allovial tablecloth of the Allier.Treatment on the factory is limited to disinfection with gaseous chlorine. The treated water is then repressed (with a flow rate of approximately 1,350 m3/h) to the Mounines tanks, or directly on the distribution network. The water output water complies with defined quality limits and referencesin the public health code. However, this water has a slightly aggressive character with calcium carbonate. The work program therefore mainly aims to produce water with calco-carbon balance. This treatment will be implemented by soda injection. As part of the market,It is also planned to replace certain equipment associated with new work.
