Description:
The awareness program "Water in Mediterranean climate between rarity and abundance" explains to children the natural mechanisms of flood formation, the notion of the watershed and connect the floods of Lez and the Mosson to significant rainfall. It develops culture Flood risk with in particular the gestures that can save in the event of a flood. But after this abundance, water can also become rare. Children are therefore made aware of the fragility of water resources and gestures to save them, but also to protect them from pollution.
This Program is offered to all schools in the perimeter of the EPTB Lez.
The objective for school years 2025 to 2028 is to raise awareness of 110 classes per year (85 elementary classes of CM1 and CM2 and 25 college classes of 6th and 5th) on the basis of three half-days animations.
