with an area of 5,285 hectares, distributed between industrial wasteland, forests, agricultural land and urbanized sites(526 ha), the operation of national interest Alzette-Belval covers a vast cross-border territory with Luxembourg returned to eight municipalities: Audun-le-Tiche, Aumetz, Boulange, Ottange, Redenge, Russange in Moselle; Thil and Villerupt, in Meurthe-et-Moselle.
In more than 12 years, the territoryhas evolved and it is necessary for the EPA today to update its topographic base in order to take these changes into account.
In this perspective, the EPA Alzette Belval wishes to carry out a mission of topographic liftings, which must allow the development of a digital field model (MNT)from the whole territory concerned by the operation of national interest.
