Description: Limoges Métropole has a composting platform operated in control and receiving approximately 11,000 t of green waste from 11 community recycling centers each year. The 1st stage of the composting process consists of crushing entrants, a subcontracted step since 2005 to a service provider. The last step consists of screening the compost using the fixed station present on the site which should be replaced due to its corrosion and advanced age (17 years) by more versatile mobile equipment.
