The Toulouse municipal police department also has 40 agentsSurveillance of the public road (ASVP) which can be submitted in their profession to verbal or physical assaults, as well as 43 protection video operators which are exposed within the framework of their supervisory functions to violent images, bodily accidents,Deaths, homicides or suicides.
The objective of assessing skills at the wearing of weapons is to prevent the risks of accidents by ensuring that the candidate has the medical, physical, psychological and cognitive skills required to occupy the function of municipal police officer endowedof a category B firearm with a lethal effect.
