Description:
The Toulon Provence Mediterranee Metropolis (MTPM) is very densely populated and activities linked to tourism in the summer are very numerous and at the heart of the region's economic challenges. Like the territories bordering the Mediterranean Sea, the massive influxes of tourists between the Mid-June and mid-September transform and reshape daily practices for a quarter of the year, whether for residents or tourists. This survey aims to know the use of the territory as well as the way in which the population is present in the territory of the Metropole moves internally, in exchange and in transit, and according to which origins and destinations. It also aims to collect, in a qualitative manner, travel practices (modes, reasons, routes, etc.). It will support the definition of solutions in favor of mobility sustainable by helping to better understand mobility behavior in a very attractive area during the summer period. It will help meet planning needs in terms of town planning and tourism, where the summer period constitutes a strong time in the economic life of the Metropolis Toulon Provence Mediterranean. Better knowledge of the travel practices of summer visitors will provide decision-making tools for the implementation of concerted public policies promoting better organization of mobility (collective transport, travel...
